MadSkillz Lab Player Policies

1. Commitment

• Players are expected to arrive ready to train with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Consistent attendance is essential for long-term development.

• Players should notify staff in advance if they will be absent.

2. Punctuality

• Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled session.

• Late arrivals may miss important instruction and warm-ups.

3. Respect

• Treat coaches, staff, teammates, parents, officials, and the facility with respect at all times.

• Bullying, harassment, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

4. Effort Standard

• Give maximum effort during every session.

• Players are expected to listen, stay engaged, and compete with intensity.

5. Coachability

• Be open to feedback and corrections.

• Respond respectfully to coaching and apply instruction immediately.

6. Equipment

• Wear appropriate training attire.

• Bring:

  • Proper footwear (turf shoes or futsal shoes when required)

  • Water bottle

  • Ball (if requested)

  • Shin guards (when applicable)

7. Facility Care

• No gum, sunflower seeds, or food on the training surface.

• Clean up all trash before leaving.

• Respect all equipment and facilities.

8. Electronics

• Cell phones must remain off and put away during training unless approved by a coach.

• Smart watches should not distract from training.

9. Parent Viewing

• Parents are encouraged to support from designated viewing areas.

• Coaching from the sidelines is not permitted.

10. Attendance

• Regular attendance is expected.

• Repeated unexplained absences may affect invitations to advanced programs, teams, or special events.

11. Injury & Health

• Players must report injuries before training begins.

• Sick players should remain home to protect others.

12. Sportsmanship

• Win with humility.

• Lose with character.

• Encourage teammates and respect opponents.

13. Development First

• MadSkillz Lab prioritizes long-term player development over short-term results.

• Players should focus on learning, improving, and embracing challenges.

14. Safety

• Follow all coach instructions immediately.

• Horseplay, dangerous behavior, or reckless actions are prohibited.

15. Personal Responsibility

• Players are responsible for their own belongings.

• MadSkillz Lab is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

16. Membership Expectations

• Membership reserves a player's training opportunity, not guaranteed attendance.

• Missed sessions are subject to the current make-up policy.

17. Code of Conduct

Players represent MadSkillz Lab both on and off the field. We expect:

• Integrity

• Accountability

• Respect

• Discipline

• Positive attitude

• Commitment to continuous improvement

18. Disciplinary Action

 

Failure to follow MadSkillz Lab policies may result in:

1. Verbal warning

2. Parent notification

3. Temporary removal from training

4. Suspension of membership

5. Dismissal from the program without refund (for severe or repeated violations)
